Create your own little world!
Explore a variety of materials - found objects, wildcraft, fiber, clay, beads, & bling!
Project prompts, materials, and demos are jumping off points for open exploration in the studio. Participants are encouraged to follow their creative curiosities. Any kind of miniature or wildcraft art is encouraged throughout. Skills are taught as the need arises. (No need to work in a forest/fairy aesthetic - all types enjoy this class and are encouraged to follow their bliss!)
Prompt examples:
• Fairy Apothecary: Create miniature potions, elixirs, mushrooms, and apothecary treasures!
• Fairy Apothecary Continued: Paint a miniature apothecary cabinet for your potions and treasures!
• Fairy Furniture: Make miniature fairy furniture out of twigs, moss, ad other wildcraft materials!
• Elves and Fairies: Make fairies, elves and other woodland creatures from a variety of wildcraft materials, fibers, beads, and bling!
• Cottage Hearth: Create a 3D Mixed Media cozy kitchen - 3D painting, shadowbox, Fairy door (Altoid tin) or miniatures in any form!

* This is a class for self-directed kids who enjoy absorbing into their own creative work. Periodic 1-on-1 support is structured into the class. For kids who enjoy more support, we suggest joining a small group. Contact us for more information.
*** Important note for parents: This class was originally designed for teens who are able to focus on one complex project for multiple classes. We lowered the age because younger kids love it too, but this style of class still requires a certain level of maturity. Kids need to be able to focus on one project for long periods, be safe with tools, and work well and independently with periodic instructor support.
