Learning to paint freely opens up so much else in our lives.
This introductory, process-oriented class is for everyone – from those without any art experience to experienced artists looking for self-connection and deeper fulfillment in their work.
100 Joys is a playful, open exploration, with enough structure and instruction to play fluidly with a wide variety of mixed-media and tools!
The purpose of this class is to discover what each person loves doing and to develop the inner awareness and confidence to follow creative impulses and personal intuition without censorship.
The heart of this class is deepening our relationship with the source of creativity inside ourselves. This is where life-long creative joy and fulfillment comes from.
The basis of our mixed-media exploration in this class is acrylic on medium to large canvas, but we will introduce watercolor/water-based paint and smaller mixed-media painting techniques for people who are oriented this way. This whole class is about following impulse and curiosity, so if someone is a watercolor type, or prefers small paper to large canvas, they can play with these materials the whole class!
Those who complete this class are invited to continue in the weekly Intuitive Painting Salons for continued exploration, or the Deep Dive Into Intuitive Painting class, beginning in March, where the intuitive process is the focus.
