STREET ART CAMP
AUGUST 12-16
Find your creative voice and inner activist
This camp invites youth self-expression to emerge from the virtual world of social media into the physical world of our local community.
Joining the craftivism/guerilla art movement...
An art movement in which people create art and leave it in public places for others to find or add to.
We take the experience, inspiration, and creative energy from our first two camps out into our community:
• Chalk stenciling
• Mini 3D art installations
• Reverse graffiti
• Googly-eye bombing
• Guerilla gardening
• Yarn bombing
• Random acts of craftivism / kindness
*Campers can include inspiration and art forms from the first two camps into their street art projects:  Gelli printing, 3D sculpture, Mixed media painting, Nature art, Diy miniatures, Fairy doors, etc…
Our style is emergent, we follow the interests and needs of the group.
Everything we do in this week-long art party will be legal, removable, and meant to transform the environment and our community in playful, and inspiring ways!
By leaving art and ideas in public places, you can affect someone's day, change their mood or their mind, and maybe even change the world in the process. - Keri Smith, author of The Guerilla Art Kit, the book that shows how small artistic acts can start a revolution.
